Project Two: ​Sgraffito

For this project I made three small birds and layered them in 3-4 coats of underglaze. After this dried I carved details into the hardened clay. Post-bisque fire I clear glazed them.

Overall I love how they came out. If I were to do it again I would carve my details in while the birds were leatherhard instead of bone-dry.
